I am currently attending Tusculum College in pursuant of a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I also attended Pellissippi State Community College for two years. My projected graduation date is set for May of 2010. Currently I am attending class and participating in practicum in various classroom settings.
My desire to become a teacher has been a dream from the time I was little. I hope to make a difference through implementing a safe and educational setting. I will strive to incorporate new technology and resources to further their educational needs.
In my personal life I have a loving husband and son. My son is nine years old an full of energy. We also have a four year old shi' tzu dog named Sophie. I was raised in Knoxville in an area known as Fountain City. I currently reside with my family in the Gibb's community. We are members of the Powell United Methodist Church in Powell.
